Jan Kroes and his former busines partner started in 2005 with a design- and engineering office for yacht- and shipbuilding. With over 30 years of marine engineering experience between them and team of over 40 skilled engineers and project managers we have proven to be a solid partner for shipyards, naval architects, designers and private clients.
OUR ACTIVITIES
Whereas for the past ten years KMP was mostly contracted for construction and engineering services, with the expansion of our naval architects team, FEM specialists, exterior- and interior designers, nowadays more clients attach great value to the strength of KMP’s integrated approach.
OUR APPROACH
A vast experience in various marine engineering projects, frequent involvement with and at the yards combined with use of the industries leading engineering tools such as Siemens NX and Shipconstructor enables us to suit the workflow of any shipyard and help reduce errors and lead times.
DESIGN
Wether a project starts from scratch or it concernes creating a buildingkit from an given design we are more than happy to share our proven solutions with private clients, yards and architects.
ENGINEERING
New build, refit projects or additional regulatory information, working on sub-projects in conjunction with the yards’ preferred partner is also something we are more than familiar with.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
The project manager, your dedicated contact during the build, will keep you informed on a daily basis and will periodically present progress updates and status reports until completion.
