Furthermore, our engineers liaise closely with the yard on a regular basis for the length of the build process, to supply them with information and to resolve any outstanding issues.

General Construction plans
These general construction drawings display the construction of hull and superstructure in order to evaluate and guarantee the global and local strength of the ship. Many structural calculations underlie these drawings which will be presented to the classification and flag administration for certification.
Construction details
In addition to the general construction drawings the detail construction drawings, also to be submitted to the regulatory bodies, display the most important construction details.
Scantlings
The scantlings, or structural calculations, together with the accompanying construction elements provide the basis for the construction plans. The scantlings are also to be submitted to the classification societies.
Check with Class requirements
General construction drawings and construction detail drawings are being submitted to class (BV, Lloyds, DNV, GL, ABS, RINA) for review after which Class’ comments are updated and returned for approval.
Welding schedules
The welding list contains the main construction elements and how the connections are made. The correct welding methods and parameters are calculated and stated. Additionally a few welding details are displayed and together with the welding schedules the package is submitted to class for approval.
